Scorpio season 2026 in love: ask what is true before you go deeper

The tropical astrology ephemeris places the Sun's entry into Scorpio on October 23, 2026. The Sun remains in Scorpio until November 22. This is an astrology season, not the same thing as the Sun moving through the physical Scorpius constellation in the night sky.

You do not need to be a Scorpio for the season to give you a useful question. In Western astrology, the Sun's movement through each sign is treated as a shared theme. Scorpio brings attention to what is private, emotionally charged, difficult to name, or ready to change form.

Astrology can help you choose where to look. It cannot tell you what another person has decided, whether a relationship is safe, or which promise will be kept. Those answers still come from reality, communication, and repeated action.

Scorpio is a fixed water sign. Water is associated with emotion and intuition. Fixed energy stays with a subject until it reaches the bottom. In love, that combination can bring a stronger wish for depth, loyalty, honesty, and intimacy that is not only physical.

The shadow of that depth is control. You may want certainty before the relationship has earned it. You may check, test, withdraw, or keep a secret because being fully seen feels risky. Venus is retrograde from October 3 through November 13, 2026. The cycle begins in Scorpio before Venus moves back into Libra. Venus is traditionally linked with love, desire, values, pleasure, and money, so its retrograde period is used for review rather than a rush toward a new conclusion.

Mercury also turns retrograde in Scorpio on October 24 and remains retrograde until November 13. Mercury is linked with communication, interpretation, messages, and decisions. Two review cycles touching Scorpio at once can make old relationship questions feel louder: trust, intimacy, an ex, an apology, money shared with a partner, or words that were never said clearly.
